AirParrot is a simple and clever tool which makes it possible to stream whatever user see on its Mac or PC’s display to Apple TV, wirelessly. It is a great way to watch movies that user have stored on Mac on larger TV screen. The application has features audio streaming, while overscan support ensures the image will fill PC, and user can even minimise distractions by hiding the mouse cursor.

Just like with AirPlay, user get to use Apple TV and view movies, photos, listen to music and much more. It all comes down to what user have on its computer and want to share. If user is not looking to share anything but rather work on a bigger screen, AirParrot is also capable of mirroring user's computer screen. Moreover, user can also set the TV to be an extended desktop.

AirParrot is easy to install and requires no configuration of whatsoever, user simply run the installer and follow the simple instructions. After it is complete, AirParrot automatically recognizes Apple TV using its built-in AirPlay feature. The application resides in the system tray and can be accessed from there. It is a three click process that takes user a couple of seconds, meaning that AirParrot is a great solution for on the fly situations.

As far as quality is concerned, AirParrot is capable of delivering 1080p HD streaming with the newest generation of Apple TV devices. Once connected to a TV, user do not have to use the same one from that point on. User can choose to mirror any device that is recognized by the application. Since video is not the single most important feature when it comes to streaming, with AirParrot user also get stereo audio output. This, along with the fact that user can use the TV as an extension for its desktop makes AirParrot a valid choice for when user need to run a business presentation on a larger screen.
