I first heard of IPTV yesterday and I'm trying to learn at least the basics to see if it fits what I'd like to do. I'd like to get some US networks. I assume the easiest way is thru some local stations. My wife is hard of hearing so consistent subtitles are a must for us. I think the simplest way is to get a box like an Nvidia Shield. Buy a subscription from an IPTV provider and make sure I have decent internet. Is that it? Seems like there must be more. Where can a beginner go to get more good information? I mean I'm so new I don't really even know the questions to ask. I really appreciate any responses.
