XC Maintenance mode

im moving XC to another server and have backups in place. Is there a way to put old XC into some form of maintenance mode to stop anyone adding more account while the transfer is in progress?

Make backup then:
Disable all seller accounts
Or
Delete all the packages and disable trials
Or
Raise all.pachage price to something like 10000

Communication is important
Tell everyone that if anyone adds new accounts will loose them if after the backup time.
